The U.S. Air Force maintains and operates medical facilities around the world, ranging from small clinics to hospitals or trauma centers erected for natural disasters. These facilities handle any and all medical conditions, including surgery. This means having Anesthesiologists on staff who not only know their job, but are also dedicated to providing the best care no matter what the situation. In the Air Force you'll get to do your job your way without worrying about cost or reimbursement. Your only worry will be patient safety.

Becoming a Direct Commission Officer

To ease your transition into the Air Force, you'll enter a five-week training regimen designed to educate you on the ways of both the military and military healthcare. You'll participate in physical conditioning five days a week, leadership training and classroom studies.
