As an expert in one of the most complex components of the human body, your skills are in demand the world over—that includes the U.S. Department of Defense. As an Air Force Neurologist, you'll work with Airmen and their families to diagnose and treat neurological diseases and disorders. You'll also do it without the red tape associated with insurance companies and most hospitals, which means you get to focus solely on your patients and little else.

To ease your transition into the Air Force, you'll enter a five-week training regimen designed to educate you on the ways of both the military and military healthcare. You'll participate in physical conditioning five days a week, leadership training and classroom studies.
