As an Air Force Neurologist, you'll work with Airmen and their families to diagnose and treat neurological diseases and disorders. You'll also do it without the red tape associated with insurance companies and most hospitals, which means you get to focus solely on your patients and little else.

Career Tasks

  • Diagnose and treat neurological diseases and disorders
  • Prepare case histories and obtain data through interviews
  • Prescribe neurological treatment and conduct examinations using the latest technology
  • Perform management duties such as coordinating neurological services with other medical activities and instructing interns and residents in neurological techniques
