Whether you're assisting an Optometrist examine an Airmen's vision or handing out eyeglasses to children in a third-world country, being an Ophthalmic Specialist is as rewarding as it is challenging. Your training will teach you how to aid in diagnosing eye disorders and how to prescribe the best treatments. You'll also learn how to interact with patients while you help them to see better and teach them to protect their eyes.
