  • In conjunction with pediatric subspecialists, you'll help manage children with complex disorders. Using a variety of sophisticated resources, you'll help direct the provision of care for families.
  • Opportunities to work with patient transport, humanitarian outreach and victims of natural disaster or conflict
  • Opportunities for board-certified pediatric subspecialists, to include state-of-the-art research and teaching opportunities in several pediatric residency programs

Becoming a Direct Commission Officer

To ease your transition into the Air Force, you'll enter a five-week training regimen designed to educate you on the ways of both the military and military healthcare. You'll participate in physical conditioning five days a week, leadership training and classroom studies.
