Career Description

As a Services Specialist in the Air Force, you'll be called on to perform a variety of tasks from conducting physical fitness tests to helping families relocate to new bases. You'll learn everything you need to know about running a hotel, a restaurant and a gym and keeping your fellow Airmen ready to deploy.

Career Tasks

• Operate income-producing activities and establish resale merchandise prices
• Plan, prepare and adjust menus
• Promote physical fitness participation to maintain the Air Force's high level of readiness
• Arrange for transporting and disposition of remains or supervise search and recovery teams

Training

After eight-and-a-half weeks of Basic Military Training, every Airman goes to technical training to learn their career. Here's the basic information about Services Specialist technical training:
