Pediatric Dentist

The pediatric dentist administers dental care to future generations of Air Force personnel. This medical professional examines, diagnoses and treats diseases, abnormalities, injuries and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structures in children while also directing the pediatric dentistry service. As a pediatric dentist, your responsibilities will include performing oral surgery and endodontic, prosthodontic and interceptive orthodontic treatment on children and providing consultation services. You will also determine the equipment, materiel and personnel needed. You will also provide consultation services. PAY CHART
