Nurse-Midwife

On the front lines of women's health in the Air Force is the certified nurse-midwife. The certified nurse-midwife provides comfort, support and expertise in medical-midwifery care during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Functioning in this role you will independently manage women's health care with emphasis on the maternity cycle and practice in collaboration with an obstetrician/gynecologist or family practice physician.
