Head and neck injuries require a highly trained specialist. As an otorhinolaryngologist, you will examine, diagnose and treat injuries and disorders of the head and neck while also managing otorhinolaryngological services. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing case histories, obtaining data through interviews, examining patients, determining x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required, interpreting test results and evaluating examination findings. In this position, you must determine procedures for preoperative and postoperative care, apply surgical procedures, coordinate operations with anesthesiologists and administer and prescribe treatment. You may also instruct interns and residents and serve as consultant on otorhinolaryngology issues. PAY CHART
