As an Air Force psychiatrist, you'll diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders and manage psychiatric services. Your duties will include preparing and reviewing case histories, evaluating data and prescribing and evaluating the effectiveness of a wide range of therapeutic measures. You will also be expected to perform management duties, including formulating plans for psychiatric services, directing mental health clinics, advising on problems related to mental health and prevention of mental disorders and serving as a medical and psychiatric consultant to clinical psychologists and clinical social workers. You will coordinate psychiatric services with other medical activities and serve as a consultant on psychiatry. PAY CHART
