Surgeon

Air Force surgeons are among the best in the world. This assignment requires the examination, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries as well as managing surgery services. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing case histories, obtaining data through interviews, examining patients, determining the x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required, interpreting test results and evaluating examination findings. In this position, you must determine procedures for preoperative and postoperative care, apply surgical procedures and coordinate operations with anesthesiologists and administer and prescribe treatment.
