Urologist

The urologist plays a key role in the Air Force's medical team. As a urologist, you will examine, diagnose and treat injuries and disorders of the genitourinary tract while also managing urological surgery services. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing case histories, obtaining data through interviews, examining patients, determining the x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required, interpreting test results and evaluating examination findings. In this position, you must determine procedures for preoperative and postoperative care, apply surgical procedures and coordinate operations with anesthesiologists and administer and prescribe treatment.
