AIRCRAFT ARMAMENT SYSTEMS
What You'll Do
- Load, unload and position munitions on aircraft
- Operationally check and electrically test aircraft weapons release and gun systems
- Remove, disassemble and inspect parts that might be damaged
- Perform armament systems maintenance functions
- Participate in the test and evaluation of new and prototype weapons and weapons systems

STATUS UPON COMPLETION
Enlisted Airman with credits earned towards Aircraft Armament Systems Technology

A High School Senior (age 17 or older)*, High school diploma, a GED, or 15 college semester hours
*High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.

60 Mechanical (M) or 45 Electronics (E)

- Experience loading and unloading munitions
- No record of emotional instability
- Normal depth perception
- Normal color vision
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Complete 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
