Enlisted AIRLIFT/SPECIAL MISSION AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
What you’ll do
- Inspect and maintain heavy transport aircraft (C-17, C-5, C-130) and cutting-edge Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPAs like the MQ-9).
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, flight-control, and fuel distribution systems under strict operational timelines.
- Prepare global airlift platforms to deploy forces, cargo, and humanitarian aid anywhere on Earth at a moment's notice.

You must be 17–42 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score.
*High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.
Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB.

- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Normal color vision
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
