As technology advances, our aircraft are able to provide greater defensive advantages to the pilots flying them. Responsible for analyzing systems and repairing any found malfunctions, Special Warfare Forces/Personnel Recovery Integrated Electronic Warfare Systems specialists ensure that pilots are always able to detect the threats and risks present while on their missions. These experts utilize a variety of systems and methods to make certain that every system is working exactly as it should when it takes to the air.

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

  • MINIMUM EDUCATION

    High school diploma, GED with 15 college credits, or GED

  • ASVAB REQUIREMENTS

    Electronics

  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • Knowledge of interpreting and applying mechanical, wiring and electronic circuit diagrams
    • Normal color vision
    • Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
    • Completion of 8.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
    • Must be between the ages of 17 and 39
