Officer AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE OFFICER
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage flightline maintenance flights, directing specialized technicians and preparing for ultimate progression to squadron command.
- Formulate and manage strategic fleet health metrics, maintenance schedules, and multi-million-dollar resource budgets to maximize wing combat readiness.
- Orchestrate rapid tactical deployments, logistics chains, and Agile Combat Employment (ACE) operations to project lethal airpower in contested environments worldwide.

Officer Training School

MILITARY TRAINING LOCATION
Maxwell AFB, AL

Bachelor’s degree

- Knowledge of capabilities, limitations and basic operating principles of aircraft systems and components
- Knowledge of theory of flight and airframe construction
- Understanding of transportation, logistics, munitions and other operations related to aircraft maintenance units
- Completion of an AETC in-residence Aircraft Officer Course
- Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)
- Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
