Providing critical care midair

Practicing medicine in extreme conditions on aircraft takes a very specialized approach. Aeromedical Physicians care for aircrew members by detecting and preventing the many physiological problems that can arise while in flight. From enforcing the proper medical procedures to evaluating working environments, they ensure our Airmen can do their jobs properly and come home safely.
