Officer-Specialty FLIGHT SURGEON, GENERAL MEDICAL OFFICER (GMO)

WHERE MEDICINE MEETS AVIATION

Flight Surgeons are physicians who specialize in caring for Airmen operating in high-performance and high-pressure environments. From supporting pilots and aircrews to helping prevent illness and injury, they play a critical role in keeping Airmen healthy, ready and fit to fly. These officers combine medical expertise with aerospace medicine training to support operations both at home and around the world.
