AEROSPACE MEDICINE FROM THE COCKPIT

Pilot-Physicians serve as both aerospace medicine physicians and dual-rated pilots within the aerospace system. Drawing from operational experience, medical expertise, and pilot training, they provide guidance across a wide range of aerospace missions. They also research aerospace systems, missions, and crews while serving as full-time consultants during the design, testing, manufacturing, and implementation of new aerospace systems.
