Cyber Warfare Operations
THE FRONT LINES BEHIND THE SCENES
With the ways of war changing by the day, it’s imperative we stay one step ahead. Cyber Warfare Operators in the Air Force develop, sustain and enhance cyberspace capabilities to defend national interests from attack. They manage cyber and information warfare operations both on base and at deployed locations while overseeing multiple operations units.
- Manage and direct personnel
- Manage the execution of operations plans to ensure positive control of assigned resources
- Evaluate operational effectiveness of communications, sensors, intrusion detection and related support equipment
- Analyze national defense guidance and strategic objectives to create operational policies
- Manage synchronization of cyberspace operations to establish situational awareness of both friendly and adversary operations

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

MINIMUM EDUCATION
A High School Senior (age 17 or older)*, High school diploma, a GED, or 15 college semester hours
*High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Must be at least 17, but has not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
