DEFENDING OUR NETWORK
Not all wars are fought in the sky or on the ground. Cyber warfare is a serious threat, which is why in the Air Force we have Warfighter Communications Operations officers to ensure we have a safe and impenetrable cyberspace infrastructure. They operate, secure and monitor our cyber systems to help achieve mission success around the clock, 24/7.
- Plan, design, maintain and operate information networks and cyberspace systems necessary for operations
- Provide a broad range of cyber-related expertise key to successful warfighting operations in the air, space and cyberspace domains
- Facilitate architectural and technical solutions to operational requirements
- Direct the extension, employment and adaptation of cyberspace to assure mission success for commanders

QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or be within one year of attaining your degree.
A passing score on the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC)
- Must be between the ages of 18 and have not reached your 42nd birthday
