CSAF Charles Q. Brown, Jr.
As Chief of Staff of the Air Force, General Charles Q. Brown, Jr. is the highest
ranking general and leader of the entire U.S. Air Force. He is the 22nd Chief of
Staff of the Air Force and the first Black service chief. Gen Brown is also a command pilot with more than 2,900 flight hours, including 130 combat hours.

CMSAF JOANNE S. BASS
Not only is Chief Master Sergeant JoAnne S. Bass the most-senior enlisted leader of the entire U.S. Air Force, she is also the first female and first person of Asian American descent to hold the position. She serves as the personal adviser to the Chief of Staff of the Air Force and the Secretary of the Air Force on all issues regarding the welfare, readiness, morale and progress of more than 600,000 Total Force Airmen. She is the 19th Airman to hold this position.
