What you’ll do
- Review tasks, intelligence and weather information to prepare for missions
- Make sure aircraft is preflighted and manned for every mission
- Monitor and operate aircraft and engine systems controls
- Conduct and supervise mission-specific training
- Perform in-flight refueling duties
 
      
    TRAINING & EDUCATION

        You must be 17–42 years of age, a U.S. citizen and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score. *High School Students may start their application as early as the end of their junior year. Applicants who are non-graduates or non-alternate credential holders must obtain an AFQT Test score of 65 or higher on the ASVAB.

        60 Mechanical (M)
- 
        
        - Knowledge of: electrical, arithmetic, mechanical, navigation, communications, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Must maintain physical qualification for aircrew duty
- Height must be no less than 57.5 inches or more than 80 inches
- Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
- Completion of the Aircrew Fundamentals Course
