The Air National Guard (ANG) pays bonuses out in equal payments in a year-over-year cycle for 5 years, starting when the member completes technical training. For example, if you are awarded a $40,000 bonus upon entering the ANG, you will receive the first increment of $8,000 approximately two months after completing technical training. Every year thereafter, you will receive the remaining increments of $8,000 until the bonus has been satisfied.
