Future Airmen can receive sign-on bonuses up to $75,000 upon entering the Air National Guard (ANG). Current ANG members can receive bonuses up to $90,000 for re-enlistments. Opportunities to earn a bonus depend on the career chosen, contract length, and prior military service.

The Air National Guard (ANG) pays bonuses out in equal payments in a year-over-year cycle for 5 years, starting when the member completes technical training. For example, if you are awarded a $50,000 bonus upon entering the ANG, you will receive the first increment of $10,000 approximately two months after completing technical training. Every year thereafter, you will receive the remaining increments of $10,000 until the bonus has been satisfied.
